 Our Journey & Vision

How it Began

Our journey began over ten years ago, by forming a part of small caravanning club with a large group of friends.

Together, we explored the great outdoors, creating countless memories and developing a deep love for the freedom that caravanning offers.

Our Vision

Inspired by these experiences by our love for caravanning we would love to pass that to our clients and offer something different and extraordinary. Our vision is to offer a premium travel experience that combines the thrill of exploration with the luxury and convenience of modern motorhomes.

 Frequently Asked Questions

Please also read our Hire Guide for specific information about the booking process and collection/return times, etc.

Where can you go in a motorhome?

Generally, there aren’t many limits to where you can travel in a motorhome. Our insurance covers travel throughout Western Europe, giving you the freedom to explore to your heart’s content.

However, it’s important to keep in mind that long periods of driving may not be the most relaxing holiday. Motorhomes are designed for taking your time and enjoying the journey.

We recommend driving to a destination, spending a few days there to take in the scenery, and then moving on again. This way, you’ll have a more enjoyable and memorable motorhome experience.

How long can I book for?

Whether you’re looking to get away for a weekend, a week, or even a month, we’ve got you covered! Most of our customers rent our motorhomes for these durations, and we’re happy to accommodate your needs.

Simply enquire about your preferred dates through the Book Now page on this website, and we’ll work with you to make your dream motorhome experience a reality.

Please be aware that our online booking system does not allow you to book a return on a Sunday as we are closed on this day. However, if you need to return on a Sunday, please let us know and we will make special arrangements for you.

Is there a minimum hire period?

Our minimum hire period is three days and even if you only require a motorhome for one night, the 3-day charge still applies. Our weekend rate is based on this minimum hire period of 3 days, which is typically from Friday afternoon until Sunday or before 11 am on Monday. If you wish to extend your rental period beyond this, additional day charges will apply.

During the school summer holidays, we require a minimum 7-day hire period, with typical collection on a Friday.

Our goal is to provide you with the flexibility and support you need to make your motorhome adventure a memorable one.

Is there a maximum hire period?

If you’re planning a long motorhome road trip, go for it!

We welcome all adventurous plans and will do our best to make them a reality for you.

However, please note that any hires longer than 28 days will need to be arranged with our team directly.

So if you’re planning an extended adventure, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and we’ll work with you to make your dream trip possible.

What is your cancellation policy?

All hire cancellations must be in writing, but please call immediately to inform us. All deposits paid are non-refundable. All monies due and received within 3 weeks of the commencement of hire are non-refundable and you are still liable for any sums not yet paid. If you cancel with more than 3 weeks’ notice, then the hire cost will be refunded less the deposit paid. No-shows will forfeit the entire hire charge. We reserve the right to cancel a hire if at the commencement of hire the driver/s licenses are invalid or not according to the conditions set out. In these circumstances, the total hire charge will be forfeited. Hirers are strongly advised to insure against unavoidable cancellation.

What is your refund policy?

If you wish to cancel 3 weeks or more before your hire and after all your balance has been paid, then we will refund half of your 75% hire cost (the full balance minus your 25% non-refundable booking fee).

Alternatively, our motorhome hire vouchers are a great option if you still wish to hire a motorhome but on a different date.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Please contact us for more information.

Can I take my pet(s) with me?

We understand that your furry friends are part of the family, which is why our motorhomes are pet-friendly.

However, to ensure that the motorhome is clean and ready for the next hire, we do ask for a small additional fee to cover the extra cleaning required after your trip.

If you have a medium-to-large breed of dog, please inform us during the booking process. Motorhomes have smaller living spaces and we would need to ensure your four-legged friend has the space they need.

We welcome small pets other than dogs and have had previous requests for cats, snakes, parrots, and even geckos!

We are more than happy to discuss the possibility of bringing your small pet on your motorhome holiday with you.

What are the speed limits for a motorhome?

Motorhomes, campervans and caravans with an unladen weight of up to 3050kg and no more than 8 passenger seats have the same speed limits as cars:
Single Carriageways: 60mph
Dual Carriageways: 70mph
Motorways: 70mph

How many miles to the gallon will we get?

Motorhomes are larger vehicles, but they can offer an economical driving experience on motorways. The fuel economy of a motorhome typically ranges from 21mpg to 28mpg, although it can achieve up to 34mpg with careful driving. All our motorhomes run on diesel.

Does the motorhome have gas and electric?

Motorhomes have a reliable electrical system that runs off the leisure battery or by “hooking-up” to an electric source on a site. The USB sockets on board the motorhome operate regardless of whether it is hooked up or not. In contrast, the 3-pin mains sockets only function when the vehicle is hooked-up to an external power source.

Heating and cooking systems in a motorhome are powered by an integral gas system. For each hire, two gas bottles are included, which should provide enough fuel for a typical trip.

An electric hook-up cable is also provided with your hire. If you’re planning to connect to your home’s main, please let us know and we can provide you with an adapter. However, using a generator is NOT permitted, as they can damage the motorhome’s electrical system, resulting in the loss of your deposit.

How do I find campsites?

When planning a motorhome trip, it’s important to know that different campsites have varying rules about the size of motorhomes they can accommodate. While most campsites can accommodate most vehicles, it’s always best to inform the campsite of the length of your motorhome when booking your pitch.

This will ensure that the campsite can allocate the appropriate style of pitch and ensure that your stay is comfortable and stress-free. So, before you hit the road, do a little research and find out the rules of the campsites you plan to visit to avoid any surprises when you arrive.

However, one of the easiest ways to find a suitable campsite is to use Google Maps. Simply type in the location you want to visit, followed by the word “camping” and you’ll be presented with a list of results that are relevant to your search.

Are there campsite directories?

Yes, there are quite a few.

For example, Pitchup is a website that allows you to search for campsites in the UK based on your location, pitch type and travel dates.

They have a directory of over 2,000 campsites for you to choose from, and you can easily compare them and book through their website or be redirected to the campsite’s own site.

You can also use the Search for Sites database to find not only campsites but also stopover places for motorhomes.

These stopovers are usually pub car parks or other private lands that the owners open up for motorhomes to stay temporarily. By spending a few pounds on a drink and dinner in the pub, you can stay overnight for free.

What happens when I arrive at a campsite?

To ensure that you have a stress-free and enjoyable stay, this is our step-by-step guide to getting set up correctly....
Check-in to reception. Most campsites have specific pitches for motorhomes and they prefer to know which one you’ll be staying in.
Park to escape! Avoid parking on a pitch at the bottom of a hill, so you don't get stuck in case of heavy rain, and take into account the side that the motorhome's door opens.
Level up the vehicle, using the levelling ramps provided with your motorhome.
Connect the electric hook-up cable to the site’s hook-up point and then your motorhome, to get electricity piped into your motorhome.
Find your water and waste points on the campsite, ready for when you need them.
Put the kettle on, relax and enjoy the view!
